It’s a team effort at Adam J Walker & Associates
While the driving force behind Adam J Walker & Associates is the eponymous Adam J Walker, our company is far from a one-man-band. You’ll have the skills, expertise and dedication of his 9-strong team, ensuring your needs are met with the required time, energy and resources.
Julie, who has nearly 30 years’ experience within the industry, joined Adam in 2011. Having previously been Associate Director with Savills PLC, heading up their New Homes department in the South West and prior to this was head of new homes for Stags, a then, 17 office private partnership in SW England.
Julie, a farmer’s daughter, married a farmer and together they bought their family farm. Julie then qualified as an Independent Financial Advisor, which opened the door that led her into Agency.
Julie and Adam handle approximately half the business sales each and Julie is also responsible for running the office and managing all the other members of the team, Julie has been married for over 40 years, has three married sons and 7 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys baby-sitting, country walks with their Golden Retriever and gardening with her husband.
Claire joined the team in 2012. Claire’s background was within sales and management and soon progressed to become Adam’s PA. Claire helps Adam collate and cross check the information needed to present Adam’s business sales to the market. She then assists him with marketing and sale progression.
Kate joined the team in February 2017 having worked in the sales industry for 12 years. Kate’s main roles include registering prospective purchasers’ requirements on our database and matching their search criteria to businesses we have for sale. She also oversees anti-money laundering compliance for our clients and purchasers and co-ordinates staff training.
Lisa joined the team in September 2019. Lisa came from an agency background, having worked for both Christies and JLL. Lisa main role is supporting Julie, sending out details, relaying questions and answers, arranging meetings, keeping the Marketing Sheets updated so that we can give accurate feedback to our business owners and generally assisting with the progression of the sales.
Carilyn spent many years working as a Teacher before she joined the team. Organisation, planning and IT skills learnt in her previous profession have been great assets when transferring to her new role and she very much enjoys marketing and coordinating Adam’s open courses which are held several times a year; keeping Adam’s website up to date; and emailing Adam’s articles to his databases.
Hannah joined the team in August of 2016. She works on a part-time basis and shares her role with Jo. Hannah’s main role is to keep Adam’s Marketing Sheets updated so that we can give accurate feedback to our business owners about who has received details; what questions have been asked and answered; who wants to arrange a meeting; who has made an offer and what progress has been made on each of the agreed sales.
Jo joined Adam J Walker and Associates in February 2020. She works on a part-time basis and shares her role with Hanna. Jo, a qualified teacher, also works in her local school 2 days a week. Jo’s main role is the same as Hannah’s. Jo lives in Devon with her husband and 2 children and in her spare time, Jo enjoys walking, baking, and sewing.
Sue joined the team in 2017 as our Bookkeeper. Sue is married with two married children, and 3 grandchildren and is excited to have another on the way. She enjoys gardening with her husband, reading, babysitting, cycling and country walks.
Saga and Odin
Sue is ably assisted by Saga and Odin who provide credit control when necessary. Yet, their skills have been untested, but they are ready, willing, and on standy.
