Agency expert marks £1 billion success with big lettings target

Agency sales consultancy Adam J Walker and Associates has hit the milestone of £1 billion worth of business sales. 

Walker made his name in the late 80s and early 90s as an industry trainer and management consultant. In this capacity, he trained over 100,000 agency staff and worked for many of the industry’s best known firms.

In 1992 he started selling businesses as a broker.

He stopped training during Covid and his business sales work has now taken him to over 700 completed sales.

He says: “If someone had set me this target in 1992, I would have seen it as an impossible dream. 

“However, over the last 10 years, the rate of consolidation in the letting industry has increased hugely and I have now set myself a new target of selling another £1 billion worth of letting agents before I finally retire.”
