Leading prime independent lettings agency bought by Lomond

Draker, which was established by Tim Hassell 15 years ago, is the burgeoning lettings agency group’s latest London purchase.

The bewildering pace of acquisitions by Lomond has continued this week following its purchase of up another independent lettings agency for an undisclosed sum.

London agency Draker, which was founded in 2010, will now join Lomond’s set of recently-acquired agencies in the capital.

These include KFH and Chase Evans, the ‘hub’ agencies for London, plus Vantage and Hamnett & Ganpot.
Although a minnow compared to 60-branch KFH, Draker nevertheless has a bigger reputation in central London than its three branches might suggest.

This has been built up by Tim Hassell and his team, who have focused on high-end landlords via a ‘client first’ approach. Hassell hails from Liverpool originally and is a trustee of a charity that helps support young chuildren from economically disadvantages homes in Westminster, St Vincents Family Project.

700 properties

Following the acquisition, Lomond adds some 700 managed properties to already huge letting book, most of which are in upmarket areas of London of and Chelsea, and Hammersmith and Fulham.

“Building Draker over the past 15 years has been a deeply rewarding journey,” says Hassell.

“Our growth has been driven by a laser focus on specialisation, discipline and above all, client satisfaction.

”As I look ahead to a new chapter in Sweden, I am confident that our clients and team are in exceptional hands with KFH – an organisation that shares our values and commitment to excellence.” Draker has been working with Swedish interiors experts Anders Olsson for several years.
